NEOFA will have a pot-luck picnic on July 18 at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center for members and family.  Join us for an evening of good food and fellowship followed by a tour of the Wildlife Center.  The Wildlife Center features a new North American Wildlife display, an updated Reptile Room, a kid’s room, and numerous displays of native Ohio wildlife in their natural environment.  There is a lot to see.  Kathy Cattrell has arranged to have other Center Volunteers on hand to guide us and answer questions.  One of the volunteers will have live snakes out for anyone to touch or hold, but you don’t have to go into that room if you care not to (Barb!)

The picnic will start at 6 PM and the tour around 7.  NEOFA will provide fried chicken, drinks, plates, and utensils.  You will need to bring lawn chairs and something to share for dinner.  In case of rain, we will move into the classroom of the Center.  Please call Jeannie Lanave at 330-532-1957 and let her know how many in your family will attend so she can plan accordingly.  Bring the kids and grandkids and enjoy a fun and educational evening at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center.

PLEASE R.S.V.P. to Jeannie by Sunday, July 15, 2018, no later than 6:00 p.m.  When you R.S.V.P.  please let Jeannie know what covered dish or dessert you plan to bring.

The Wildlife Center is located at the entrance to Beaver Creek State Park at 12798 Echo Dell Road just north of Calcutta.  Directions are on their website (beavercreekwildlife.org) or call Mitch Cattrell 330-429-9734 for help.
