Lumberman’s Benevolent Fund Fundraiser

Due to concerns and restrictions surrounding COVID-19 the 2020
Lumberman's Outing has been cancelled. But, we still need your help.

The Lumberman's Outing is a charitable event that benefits the Lumberman's Benevolent Fund. The fund this year has been earmarked for the family of Andrew Byler. Andrew was a logger employed by Millcreek Lumber in Millersburg, OH. He was killed this spring in a tragic logging accident. He leaves behind a wife and 5 children.

Andrew's family still needs your help. In the past, this fundraiser has been instrumental in helping families of the timber industry who have suffered a tragedy. 100% of the proceeds from registration and sponsorship is donated as charity. Without this event, our ability to help Andrew's family is limited.

Since we are unable to conduct this annual fundraiser in the traditional manner, we are requesting sponsorship donations. All sponsors will be recognized in the Ohio Forestry Association Weekly Newsletter and on the website. Your donation is tax deductible as a charitable donation. Please call OFA @ 888-388-7337 or complete the form above if yo wish to be a sponsor.

Current Sponsors: A & M Kiln Dry, Berlin Lumber, Pixelle Specialty Solutions, Northwest Hardwoods, Schlabach Printers, Superior Hardwoods of Ohio and Tiger Wood.

The Lumberman's Benevolent Fund was created by the original founders of the Lumberman's Outing to help those in the forest industry whose family has suffered a tragedy. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Lumberman's Benevolent Fund.

The Ohio Forestry Foundation is an IRA 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit corporation.
