Thompson Library Exhibit

The public is invited to experience the beautiful white oak paneling, millwork and furniture in the Thompson Library at The Ohio State University.  An exhibit titled "Building Ohio State: From Forest to the Renovation of the Thompson Library" is going to be featured in the Gallery area of the Thompson Library starting Feb. 1 and running through May 14, 2017. The gallery exhibit tells the story behind the selection, manufacturing and installation of the woodwork that is the highlight of the library's recent renovation but broadens the story to include it in the context of Ohio's forested history.   The exhibition highlights sustainable forest management and its continuing role in education, sustainability, and economic development in the state of Ohio.

The exhibit is open to the public for self-guided tours daily but check their website for specific hours and exceptions:
